THE WEIGHT OF THINGS
Can you see a bottle of whiskey
just kind of hovering there?
In the air.
To the right of you
and slightly above your eye level.
So you have to look up in order to see it.
This means it's a memory;
and when you look down,
you're looking at the future.
That unlike most of us think,
the past goes up.
It doesn't go down,
to hell or wherever.
It goes up.
And that means
(counter intuitively)
the future is very dense.
That the past,
although it's larger
at a certain point in your life,
it's not as heavy.
It loses mass.
That's why it goes up.
And that's how you can remember.
Because things lose mass
and they pass us.
If you see it
four dimensionally
or whatever
the path the past takes
is upward,
past you,
and to the right,
depending on
where you're standing.
